Civil Support has significant experience in contract administration, having been involved in the successful delivery of multiple major transport infrastructure projects in Central Queensland in recent times including the Rockhampton Northern Access Upgrade (RNAU), Dawson Highway Timber Bridge Replacement, Yeppen South, Calliope Crossroads Arterial Interchange (CCAI), multiple Bruce Highway upgrade packages, Calliope Range realignment, Gladstone Port Access Road (GPAR), and Angela Road to Etna Creek Road (AERS). Civil Support recognises the value and benefit to its Client in offering a rigorous and experienced approach to contract administration. Each staff member of Civil Support has an intimate knowledge of contract types based on the AS2124, AS4000, including TMR’s Transport Infrastructure Contract series, as well as extensive experience in Alliance and Partnered forms of contract. To manage these challenges Civil Support have developed and implemented its own bespoke software package, “ConTrack”, to provide a succinct, transparent web based application for the management of all contract records and data as it relates specifically to TMR Transport Infrastructure Contracts.

Civil Support can provide any of the following options:

• Complete Contract Administration and Verification Team (CAVT) including Contract Administrator, Administrator’s Representative, Surveillance Engineers, Project Engineers and Inspectors;
• Single or multiple resources to fill roles within the Client’s CAVT;
• Mentoring / Coaching of the Client’s CAVT; and
• Independent Advisor for contractual issues that may arise from time to time during a contract.

In addition to the administration of contracts, Civil Support has a significant depth of experience and knowledge in the contract formation stage, including the selection of an appropriate contract type and the compiling of contract documents and technical specifications.
